Closing the year with Pause, Rest, Gratitude & Care

As the year draws to a close, I find myself reflecting not just on the calendar turning, but on the quieter moments that often go unnoticed — the pauses, the breaths, the times the body spoke softly and was listened to.
This season can be full. Full of people, expectations, movement, and noise. And yet, beneath it all, many bodies and nervous systems are gently asking for something different — rest, softness, simplicity, nourishment.
I want to offer a gentle reminder to listen closely to your body over this holiday period. Even small acts of slowing down can be profoundly regulating: a deep breath before responding, time outdoors, a warm meal eaten without rushing, choosing an early night over pushing through. These moments matter. They help bring us back into balance.
As I reflect on this year, I feel deeply grateful. Thank you to everyone who has supported my work — those who return regularly, those who come when their body calls for it, and those who trusted me for the first time this year. Your continued support allows me to do this work with care, presence, and integrity.
It has been an honour to hold space for you and to support your wellbeing in ways that feel right for you.
I’ll be offering limited sessions over the holiday period, with selected days and hours available. If your body is asking for support, you’re welcome to check my website for current availability and bookings.
Looking ahead to the new year, I’m excited to share some wonderful things in store — collaborations, community koha sessions, and specially designed packages to support your self-care and balance. I can’t wait to share these with you and continue this journey together.
As we move into the final days of the year, my hope is that you find moments of peace, grounding, and gentle restoration — however that looks for you.
May peace settle upon you, may your body rest, and your spirit be at ease.
